SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it really is alarmed regarding the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused here on website service the area on a daily basis. The provider level created for intervention activities a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and raise entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
